A story about a world where the Fall didn't happen yet the enemy still exists. Origional the beginning I found drug on for a while then when it got interesting it really took off. I still like Dekker better though, I find Dekker hooks my attention from the first paragraph and keeps it throughout the book.!thumbsup!

Yes, Ted Dekker is great. He doesn't hook me from the word go but once I've read a few pages in I'm well on my way. He's a great storyteller and quite outside the box.

Well to be fair I only read The Chosen so I don't know how his other books pair with this one but I wouldn't mind reading all his fantasy linked books.

Sounds a bit like Paralandra by C.S. Lewis.

No this is very different, I wouldn't put it in the same respect as Paralandra all though this guy says he's a friend of Douglas Gresham.
