Has anyone read Kay Marshall Strom's ONCE BLIND ~ The Life of John Newton?
Kay also has a screenplay that hopefully will become a film, and apparently, she was on location in Ireland as a consultant for the filming of Amazing Grace. Pretty sweet.
I liked the book more than I thought I would. I felt she had some great descriptive imagery, and of course her facts were very well researched. I think maybe she could have developed his wife’s character more--I wasn't to bothered when she died. I'd like to think that’s because of lack of the wifes’ character development and not mine!
