I'm looking to start a website and I came across this site.
SiteBuildIt! (http://www.sitesell.com/hostingsolutions4u.html>)
Anyone use them? Not sure if they are all hype with no follow-up. So I would love to hear if any of you are using them. They are a web-hosting company.
They push their affiliate program strongly, but it looks like it might be a great way to generate a little extra income if you started a site with them?
I did sign up for their affiliate program (free) but haven't signed up for a web-site yet. ($150 a year if you are in the affiliate program - $300/yr. if you are not.) The $150 a year is not bad - that works out to about $12.50 a month.
I looked into go-daddy and went through the 'start here' process, ticking the boxes of items I was interested it. By the time I got to the last screen they wanted to charge me $65.00 - plus I'm sure a monthly payment, but I'm not sure what it is a month. I backed out of it.
With the above company it's just a flat $150 a year. And it sounds like they take care of making sure your site is 'crawler' friendly.
I just know absolutely nothing about having my own website and would love any opinions any of ya'll have about the subject.
Thanks,
