Free screenwriting software

Celtx is the software I used when I wrote "Crawdads and Co-colas" last June during Script Frenzy. It worked like a charm. I downloaded the free version -- I think there are features you don't have in the free version that are part of the full program, but, for what I was doing, I really didn't need them. All I needed was the formatting, and it supplied that need superbly.

The only bad thing about celtx is that it can't export to .rtf files. That means you can't share your script with all the formatting with anyone else unless they download celtx to read it. It can export to .html and .txt but none of those preserve the formatting. Anyone know how to solve this?

You can also use a program on the internet called - Scripped. I don't remember the web site off hand but it could be scripped.com

Personally, I'm not sure I could do a web based writing program. There are times when the Internet goes down, or when I can't access the internet (like if I had a laptop and was traveling.) I prefer my files to be on my computer where I know I can access and modify them whenever I want.
