Hi. If anyone has spare time / energy, I could use some prayer. Especially about writing and just feeling down on myself.

Hey, Alice! You are a child of God, made in His image. You have the gifts of the Creator within you, giving you creative abilities. You are special, one of a kind. No one can write in the same way as you. God made you unique and able to reach out to those He has plans for you to touch. Keep going. Keep writing. We all have periods of self-doubt, among other things, but we have to remember that the Lord has given each of us a job to fulfill. And along with it comes a responsibility to carry it out.
S-o-o-o-o…give yourself a good talking to. If a friend of yours felt as you do, would you not do all you could to cheer that one up? You are your own best friend. Give yourself a boost. Don’t dwell on anything negative. Feed yourself positive thoughts. Negativity only breeds more of like kind. If you think negative thoughts about yourself, you will believe them.
Now…go to your bathroom mirror. Set your jaw. Glare right into your own eyes. Point your finger at yourself and start telling yourself good things. Fuss at yourself and then start praising yourself. Then, I want to hear back from you!
And yes, I'll be praying!

Holy Father, thank you that we, as believers can lift our sister before you today. In the name of your Son Jesus I ask that the lies that satan may be telling Alice will fall harmlessly to the ground. Show your love to her. Wrap your arms around her and encourage her as no one else can. Through your Spirit guide her fingers as she types, help her focus on her work. Remind her that SHE is your number 1. In your name I pray. Amen.

Being down!
Lord being down can be so discouraging.
It can be so hard to see You our King.
Often evil forces attacking without respite.
Thoughts and feelings as dark as the night.
Lord being down can be so incredibly deep.
The way to the top so slippery and steep.
Skin torn hands, knees and feet bleeding.
Inabilities like Goliath's colossus seething.
Lord being depressed is so cold and lonely
Pain contorting such psychological agony.
Please be with Alice fighting this dark place.
That she may eat from Your love and grace.
All the best down there, please hold tight to the promises of deliverance. It will make you strong and loving. If I may ask, are you medicated - that's if it is severe? For this can be a real help through tough times.
Blessings (Psalm 21)
