The Canadian government has ordered a Christian pastor to renounce his faith and never again express moral opposition to homosexuality, according to a new report.
In a decision handed down just days ago in the penalty phase of the quasi-judicial proceedings run by the Alberta Human Rights Tribunal, (http://www.albertahumanrights.ab.ca/about/contact.asp) evangelical pastor Stephen Boisson was banned from expressing his biblical perspective of homosexuality and ordered to pay $5,000 for "damages for pain and suffering" as well as apologize to the activist who complained of being hurt.

Perhaps we should pray for Mr. Boisson... :)

Wow, Xenia! I should say we should! Little by little, the enemy encroaches upon our territory! And I don't mean the US and Canada!

Getting a little close for comfort ain't it. I hope that we will stand strong against this happening here... I don't plan on lying down for it!

According to Fox News, about two weeks ago (I don't remember the date, sorry), the U.N. wants to put together a sort of tribunal and travel the world prosecuting indivuals, groups or organizations for hate crimes against any person, group or organization. This could include homosexual, abortionists and cults/occults taking precidence over Christianity and Christians.
It is not a big stretch of the imagination to visualize this "tribunal" waging a war against anybody that does not adhere to the vilest most ungodly doctrines of the world.
They stated in the news report that they wanted to start in the United States. Can you imagine being guilty of a hate crime because you disagreed with a Morman, Muslim or an abortionist. What's next, the mark of the beast?

Time to revoke our membership in the UN, methinks. Throw the bums out, ASAP! They won't last long if they don't have our $$$ funding their crazy projects...
As for the Canadian guy, I hope he sticks to his guns!

Well, if Obama gets it you can bank on that NOT happening (you can bank on it anyway) because when a President thinks it's okay to try their predecessors as criminals then kicking us Christians to the curb is not too far off the radar! http://www.rightpundits.com/?p=1577
The way I see it is that the ball is still in our court:
2Ch 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

"This is like a Third World jail-house confession – where accused criminals are forced to sign false statements of guilt," Levant wrote. "We don’t even 'order' murderers to apologize to their victims' families. Because we know that a forced apology is meaningless. But not if your point is to degrade Christian pastors."
"In essence, the Alberta Human Rights Tribunal is ordering to the minister to renounce his Christian faith, since his opposition to homosexuality is based upon the Judeo-Christian Bible," Vere wrote. . . .
Vere raised the question that Canada now considers morality a "hate crime."
A lifestyle that shows love for who people really are (souls whom God loves) rather than for what they look like or what they do--a.k.a. morality--is equal with hatred? Somebody's got their brains in backwards.

Isa 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
