Man, I've been trying to get this song finished for ages...just finished the last note. Wish I was better at recording and exporting files, I'd give you a listen, it came out good! I'm going to ask our church band to play it.

Father to the Fatherless

When the trials of life seem to weigh my heart down
till there’s nothing left
but me and my despair.
I turn my eyes above
and I look to Gods great love,
He’s the only one that I can give
all my earthly cares...

‘Cause He’s a Father to the Fatherless
‘Gives sight to the blind
Holds back my fears
See’s all my tears,
Helps leave this world behind.
‘Has so many blessings,
who could ask for more?
I’ll spend all my days giving all my praise
to Jesus Christ my Lord.

And when I think about all the good God has done
I remember well, He always keeps His Word..
His Spirit in my heart, His Word I will impart,
for there still so many souls who simply haven’t heard...

That He’s a Father to the Fatherless
‘Gives sight to the blind
Holds back my fears
See’s all my tears,
Helps me leave this world behind.
‘Has so many blessings,
who could ask for more?
I’ll spend all my days giving all my praise
to Jesus Christ my Lord.
I’ll spend all my days giving all my praise
to Jesus Christ my Lord.....

Of course between verses there's a fiddle solo...

Hey, cool, Merry Merry! I have one question...why the marking on these words...

‘Gives sight to the blind

‘Has so many blessings,

‘Gives sight to the blind

‘Has so many blessings

Jus curious. They don't seem to serve any purpose unless I'm not seeing it.

Oh, one other thing...

I remember well, He always keeps His Word..

Only two periods in the elipsis. Great job! I wish I could hear the melody.
