How about C.S. Lewis' The Screwtape Letters?

Personally, this is probably my favorite book.

What about it?
You haven't asked a question as such, so I'll just muff it.

I really enjoyed The Screwtape Letters it gave a good insight into how crafty demons can be in tempting us and how we can grow lukewarm and worse so easily.
Not my favourite work of Lewis' but great nonetheless (one his best).

Although I'm disinclined to agree with the premise of demonology, I *love* The Screwtape Letters. Lewis's slightly snarky, always dead-on approach to the struggles and pitfalls of the Christian life are brilliant (as always) - and entertaining too. !thumbsup!

I listened to John Cleese's rendering (book on tape). It was fabulous. His sarcastic tone breathed life into the demons.

I put the tape in the car while I was driving somewhere with my son. He made me promise not to listen to the tape unless he was in the car with me, so he wouldn't miss any of the book. I was surprised that he (a teen at the time) enjoyed it as much as I did.
