Hello
I am new to this site. I love to write. I never new how important it was to me until I decided to clear some things off of my plate so that I can have more time and more focus to write.
It is something that I have been holding inside doing other things that was
"easier."
But in doing those other things I found myself not as fulfilled as I am when I write.
I just wanted to say hello and to hear from anybody out there.
God Bless You,
Crystalia

Welcome. I hope you find everything to your liking. I'm looking forward to reading your work. There is a great bunch of people here, but be aware that some speak in the third person. Because of which, we never know who is doing the speaking. :D Enjoy! ;)

FireFeet hurumphs and bombards OneVoice and WG with a storm of cocktail peanuts.

Merry looks around the room and says, "Shh! You'll scare her off!!" Then turning to justone she asks,"Did you bring cookies? I heard you made good ones, peanut butter with Hershey's kisses on top."
Puzzled, Justone asks, "What?"
Frustrated, Merry cries, "It's important!"
FireFeet
07-13-2004, 02:12 AM
FireFeet suggests to OneVoice that perhaps she could gather up the confetti of peanuts, crush them, and make some tasty cookies. Peanut blossoms, the ones Merry described, are one of FireFeet's favorites. :D

"Oh no!" laughs Merry. "It's quite past our bed time! DO be a dear, FireFeet and don't let me mention it again! And Crystalia, don't mind wg, he really does posess the 'silly' gene, we do our best to bring it out of him. And I have always suspected Justone to be a bit a on the maniacal if you catch her right. And don't mind me and FireFeet, we're just collaborators..."
"Extemely silly ones.." Says Fire Feet.
"Given to fits of laughter for no apparent reason..." said Merry.
"But generally harmless..."
"On Tuesdays at ten o'clock.."
And then they chorus, "Welcome to the site!"
And this time wg and Justone pitch peanuts at them in self defense and before anyone can say, 'Conspiracy Theory' the greeting erupts into a peanut fight....
Merry

Psst...FireFeet, do you really like peanut butter cookies? I'll have to make you some.

You guys are going to scare her away from this sight!
Welcome Crystalia! We are not all crazy around here. But the crazy ones keep things interesting.
Hope to see you around,
Lynnette
FireFeet

FireFeet whispers to Merry, "I think we just got called crazy...."
She then turns to Lynnette and with a innocent smile inquires, "Woud you care for a brownie?"
FireFeet
07-15-2004, 01:49 PM
FireFeet visits MerriamWebster.com and learns that one definition of "crazy" is "being out of the ordinary." I LIKE that!
A similar word, however, and even more appropriate, is "mad."
"completely unrestrained by reason and judgment"
"incapable of being explained or accounted for"
"marked by intense and often chaotic activity"
"marked by wild gaiety and merriment"
Oh...yes...quite MAD are we! rofl
Merry

"Oh yes, 'out of the ordinary,' quite describes us. And 'mad' I had no idea it was such a unique and interesting word! I am proud to claim it as a personal adjective! Why, thank you, Lynnette! Have one of my cookies first! I insist!" and she piles several fat brownies on Lynnette's overwhelmed plate.
"But FireFeet, did you see how utterly serious I can be when discussing science? Hmmm, it is the last and stuffiest strong hold on the planet. And yet, WHY, it IS one of the maddest!! All those men embracing things that were simply MADE UP! For instance, they believe things similar are the same, therefore, if we continue in this thinking, your dog could be your cat! Hmm, there really are some budding fantasy writer's in that trade, I just feel it. :D
But, I must publicly congratulate you on your research in theoretical robotics to make the Zylphia storyline live. Of course, no one knows what we're talking about, but that's all right. They will eventually. Have a cookie. But I think I know why our other friend dropped the ball concerning her plot: I feel it is directly related to her adherence and solid belief in String Theory physics. Shall I say? I shall, string theory has her all tied up! I think she was going 'there' with the plot and it won't work... not in this universe or anywhere else. Pity, because otherwise, she remains a supremely fine and talented writer.
Sorry to take this post to be 'on' about something, but have faith...there is always a method to the madness...." :D

FireFeet GROANS at the adominable pun.
And shrieks, "NO, Merry, NO....we simply cannot bring Zylphia's storey to CW! Why, they would think we are quite...well...um...mad!" :)

So far I am intersted in non-fiction novels.
I plan to stick around long enough to understand all or " maybe just a little"
bit of what everyone was talking about.
Thanks for replying.
I do feel welcomed!

justonevoice returns to find this thread has taken on a life of it's own, and in shock drops the cookies on the floor. Sheba, the cookie eating mouse nabs the cookies and scurries off to her den before justonevoice can save them. All of the above named groupies are without cookies for this party. :) :D :o
Merry

Thinking it through carefully, Merry says, "What we need is a cat that eats mice, that eat cookies!"
FireFeet
07-19-2004, 11:27 AM
FireFeet arrives with Elusive and Hephzibah. While her kitties rid CW of pesky mousies, FireFeet bakes yet another batch of brownes. "Let the party begin...AGAIN. We shall not be stopped nor conquered..."

WoW! What did I tell you? These folks have an answer for everything. You'll love it here, or love us, or at least you won't be bored.
justonevoice makes her exit, looking for the cat, who ate the mouse, who ate the cookies and almost ruined the party.
Never a dull moment at our house! :D

FireFeet sprints across the room and halts JustOne's exit with a leaping tackle followed by a merciless bout of tickling. "Cry uncle!" she demands. :D

:D :D
justonevoice finds the cat, that ate the mouse, that ate the cookies hiding in the hall. Cookie cumbs lightly sprinkle the cats fine white wiskers, as she sits on the floor with her mouth full of mouse. After the third attempt to rescue the cookies, justonevoice realizes that no one could want cookies this badly and so she abandons the mission to cry "uncle" and bid all a fond good evening. :o :D

FireFeet reads JustOne's post several times, scratching her head and furrowing her brow in puzzlement. She muses out loud, "Did JustOne REALLY mean that she was trying to get the cookies out of the mouse out of the cat?!? Ewwwww.....that's DISGUSTING! Here...have an Oreo, you poor cookie deprived thing!" :p
Merry
07-21-2004, 09:05 PM
Merry rushes in carrying a pie to assist, but stumbles and lands face first in a pan of key lime. Stunned, she climbs to her feet and begins blindly scraping off the creamy stuff, accidentally splatting both FireFeet and JustOne....
(Shirley: Saw your article at c4l, thought it was good op-ed! Y'know, it does seem like a nice place to gain experience.)

Justonevoice dashes to the sink to retrieve a hand towel, and gently wipes the creamy substance from her friends’ faces, and promises never to drop the cookies again. The cat that ate the mouse, that ate the cookies, rests inside his mouse hole, breathing a sigh of relief, as this long third person conversation comes to an end.
Justonevoice, knowing that she started a thread which now seems to have a life of its own, sits comfortably in her recliner, waiting to see where it will finally end.
Merry laughs, and replies “I will never let it end, it must live on forever.”
FireFeet still tasting Merrys’ fine pie reluctantly submits and allows the third person thread a proper funeral.
I'm glad you liked it.

justonevoice bows her head as tears drop down her face. Her fear of boredom drives her toward the keyboard to once again breath new life into the once dead forum post. Jumping to its feet it cries, "come back, don't leave me here to disappear without thought or memory!" :( :(
FireFeet
07-22-2004, 06:45 PM
FireFeet whispers to Merry, "Goodness gracious, she's far more mad than we...SHE thinks thread forums can SPEAK!" :D
Merry
07-22-2004, 10:10 PM
Merry whispers fearfully, "Most dreadful! You know, I've seen this before and we really must stop her or she'll think she's talking to dog's, cat's and politcal operatives! It's quite serious....
justonevoice

justonevoice whispers into the dark resess of her mind, "Perhaps I should have let that dead forum post lie." Oh well I was bored!
