I just finished reading Michael Crichton's State of Fear. I know this is an old book--2004 but it gives a lot of insight to media and how they put together stories (broadcasts), to politics and how it manipulates voters, and to how science works. It also addresses political correctness. The backdrop is the topic of global warming.
The book does not have a Christian world view and does have profanity in it. I just wondered if anyone else read this book and wondered if we could have a conversation about it.
I found it fascinating and wanted to talk to somebody who had read it--but we have to use our manners. tee hee.
