Okay, I'll try to be brief and clear: I feel strongly about "Christian" versus "nonChristian" values (e.g., abortion, marriage between a man & woman only, etc.). So when I read about a particular political candidate's views that are opposed to what I consider Christian values, and the candidate's "conservative" message doesn't match his/her "liberal" record, I feel it my duty as a Christian citizen to pass on the information I read. One person took offense to my forwarding an e-mail about a political candidate, saying she did not send in her name (for a particular distribution list) to have me send unrelated items. But I did not use the distribution list; I included her name among others because she has sent me several e-mails of the "forwarding" type, so I figured I could do the same with her. It seems to me that she's saying (indirectly) that it's okay for me to send her "religious" items like she sends me, but not anything else?? What do you think?
