V is in the hospital again....this time because she has a hernea. It got really big....really fast!!!! Her PD machine wasn't working so I brought her in to the hospital...that was yesterday!! her labs are good...and pd worked good last night here! they wanna do surgery on Wednesday!!! Please continue to pray for Vivica....aka....pie!!!

Vivica's Doing good ~ Surgery went well
This little girl is such a trooper, she does need to stay for 3 weeks
shes been having problems with her PD line ~ being at home is not a good thing right now. My Niece Donette (V's Mom) is strugglin as we all would imagine she has two other girls at home who need her also. When v is in hospital Donettes sister Lisa takes the girls in ~ as Vivica has Mom with her.

Please keep Mom and Sisters in Prayer also. We need Vivica healthy so she can have Heart surgery in June. God Bless All of You.

update on Vivica from her Mom on Tues 5/20/08

SO EVERYONE VIVICA IS BACK IN THE HOSPITAL. THIS TIME WITH ANOTHER INFECTION. HAS TO DO WITH HER DIALYSIS AGAIN. T HIS TIME THE P.D. CATH MIGHT HAVE TO COME OUT BECAUSE THERE IS YEAST IN IT!!! NOT GOOD!!! IF THIS HAPPENS THEN VIVICA WILL HAVE TO BE OFF DIALYSIS FOR A WEEK. THEN SHE WOULD HAVE TO HAVE THE CATH. REPLACED!!! ALL THAT IS ALOT.

SHE WAS THROWING UP ALOT TONIGHT, SHE SLEPT TO.......IF YOU KNOW VIVICA U KNOW SHE DOESN'T LIKE TAKIN NAPS...LOL...THE DR. CAME IN A LITTLE BIT AGO AND SAID THAT THINGS LOOK ALRIGHT NOW. WE WILL BE WATCHING HER CLOSE THROUGH THE NIGHT.

Vivica has had 2 surgeries since the last time I wrote! One to remove her dialysis cath. and another one to place a PICC line!! Wednesday morning was the most painful that I can remember. Vivica cryed and screamed, oh so sad!!! Thats when they said the infection was to bad and stop dialysis and plan surgery to remove the cath. So Wed. around 3 they took out the dialysis cath.. NO more dialysis!!! Now we must watch Vivica to see what her body does. Her kidney might have gotten worse....but we don't know...not yet any way!!! Then Thursday she had a PICC placed for the meds..


PLEASE CONTINUE TO PRAY HARD FOR VIVICA AND OUR FAMILY.

Vivica is doing well without dialysuis!!! thanks for all the prayers and love!!! we feel it here at the hospital. Vivica took her first shower since Oct. 2007!!!! (because of so many tubes)OMG she smells so good. She stayed in the shower for an hour!!! :)

Oh yeah the Dr. was callin V Budda, cause she had gained so much weight from surgery. He came in the next day....she had lost alot of water weight . Dr. said now shes BUDDA-FUL!!!!!! Shes doing well ,tomorrow we should get some more information!!!

Vivica is takin a bad turn again Please Pray
shes been throwing up again and in extreme pain..We need her well & strong for Heart Surgery comin up this month I'll let you know on that...she needs a kidney transplant after heart surgery..so be in prayer that she is able to get a donor kidney...
