Didn't see a thread anywhere, so:
Is your church, or are you, doing anything for NDoP today?

I will be going to the court house, with my mother in law and her mom, to participate in a prayer gathering.

The prayer meeting went well. I enjoyed it, except for the speaker they slipped in halfway through. He was a bit long winded and didn't make much sense, but the prayer time was good.
I wanted to share the verse that was printed at the bottom of the paper they gave me. It is found in Psalm chapter 28 verse 7.... "The Lord is my strength and shield; my heart trusts in Him, and I am helped."
I decided to look it up and highlight it in my Bible and found that they didn't print the whole verse on the paper. It goes on to say..."My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to Him in song."
I found it so sad that they didn't print the rest of the verse. I don't think you can have the first part of the verse without the second. Having the Lord as my source of strength and seeing how He works in my life automatically makes me burst out in song and my heart leap for joy.
Anyway, I hope hope someone else is touched by this verse as much as I was.
God bless

Honestly I wasn't planning on doing anything special yesterday except to spend the day off and on praying. But my mother in law called and said she wanted me to go with her to the courthouse for the prayer meeting.
I'm really glad I did. The last time I was in a court house I had a panic attack. This time because I was going to pray and praise God I was able to see the court house in a different light and not as a place to be afraid of.
I believe it was another stepping stone preparing me for what's to come in June when I have to testify. Now when I step through the court house doors in Colorado I can picture that prayer meeting and the peace that I felt instead of the many horrible and fearful times I had in the past.
God is good...

I seen Sunday that there was a NDOP car in the Sprint Cup race. Mr. Dodson i think it was sponsored it and it won the poll i believe not sure where it finished. But i was pulling for him to win.
Winning the poll means the car got to start first so there was lots of coverage of th car on TV.
