Do you write a lot, and backup a lot? I do. I’ve got two external hard drives now for backing up. Mainly I’ve had too many PCs blow up on me, and writing everything I have to a CD gets way to complicated. So one I use constantly and the other is for many months worth of work to be stored on.

I try to write stuff on CDs every once in a while, and I also try to have several copies just in case. But it's been rare that I've lost a file, but my computer is over 3 1/2 years old now, so...

I consistently save my work as attachments in my e-mail account.

External Hard drive, Flash drive . . . sometimes CDs. Like you're idea Tarin. However I actually lost my Google e-mail account. It took a week to get it back. Was a nightmare and don't even know how it happened in the first place.

Yes, the e-mail idea is just a handy back-up to the back-up. Hopefully, *everything* won't crash at the same time.

I’ve never done the e-mail idea. What’s the largest work you’ve backed up that way?

I back up some through email when I email myself stuff so I can transfer files between school and home.

Um... not sure. A MB maybe? That's just one doc though. I think my server at Yahoo! has unlimited storage space, so I can store as many docs as I want.
