Silence, no distractions
Silence, no sense of time
Forgiveness requested upon bended knees
Thus the right to ask

Needs rehearsed one by one
Nothing unknown to Him
Physical, financial, depression- meant to distract
Spiritual growth and salvation needed

All asked per His direction
With all answers as He wills
Silence broken, wood creaking from the cold
Unknown needs sensed... no words come

Creaking, moaning sounding
First here then there
Romans 8 remembered
The Spirit interceding with groans

Silence, listening
God's very presence known
A fragrance sweet to Him
To fill His golden bowls

My watch now over
The privilege thus passed
Peace and joy replace the list
Now I am able to rest

Enjoyed reading. Reminded me of not only how to pray but why we pray.

Lovely theme well thought out - perhaps lacking flow at times but hey who cares you won the round easily in my opinion.
