Rebecca, Since there is a fiction readers book forum, I am wondering about a non-fiction one, or something similar. Maybe one open for suggestons. I saw a book I thought would be interesting for everyone but there really doesn't seem to be a place to post it. Do you have any suggestions?

Hi Lynn,
Why not just suggest it in the current "book discussion" forum?

Well...I was thinking more along the lines of book suggestions rather than discussions. So this didn't seem to fit the guidelines of the discussion group. Oh, well, maybe I'll just make a new thread.

Hi Lynn,
Hmm... the problem we may run into with this is advertising. While I know you mean well and aren't trying to push your own work, there are many people who might exploit this (by "suggesting" their own book). It could easily snowball on us.
Perhaps we can think up a different solution? How about writing a review on the book, and posting it in the showcase? I'm open to discussing other suggestions you may come up with, also.
Thanks,
Rebecca

Hmmm...hadn't thought of that. Actually, I was thinking along the lines of suggestions from others as to what they have read lately...devotionals, inspiration, spiritual growth types of books...that have been a help to them. Whatever you think would work best, I'm game!

I you wanted to start a thread about, "What have you read lately," that's fine. Since it's not really writing-related, however, it's probably better suited to a discussion on 4B.
I'll move this discussion to the "suggestions" forum, since it seems more relevant there.
Thanks!
