I know i seen this before it is so so weird and funny and good at the same time. God made all these creatures and they are so amazing and I love most of them. LOL don't like some of the bugs... i'll ask him about that when i get there. LOL LOL

OH...MY...GOSH!!! I've never seen those videos before. How awesome! We all knew how smart elephants were but smart enough to paint? WOW! I hope someone is doing a study on this. Incredible! Did you see the ones painting flowers? If not, here's the link...

Thank you so much for posting this. My granddaughter (6 years old) is here and she was absolutely awestruck! Me, too!

I wonder how long it took them to train them - you can't tell me they did that w/out being trained (did they?). IN any event the painting is still better hta 80% of what goes for "art" in museums and gallries these days.

I wish I could see the videos, but I do know that some animals have a better eye for art than some humans, including some artists! Ripley lives!

If they trained them in what precisely to paint, I'd like to know how they did it. You'd still have to have an artistic eye I'd think. He was even filling in lines that looked a little light and adding small flourishes.

As I understand it, the artwork is all their own. They were trained how to use a paintbrush and paints, but draw what they wish to draw.
