This is a promo for his book, In Defense of Israel, in his own words, from youtube. Scary, when he is one of the formost Bible prophecy teachers on TV.:eek::eek:

I'd hate to make a comment without reading some of the book. However, it does seem, ummm, off. The promo does say it will stir controversy. I await all the comments...

Here is a reply by another minister, who has talked to him.

I'm like Lynn. i've watched hagee for years I'll have to hear more of this before I make a judgment call. Some of what he says is kind of shocking but as I said I'll have to hear it more in detail to see what he's saying for sure.

Jesus came to the earth to save us, he may be splitting hairs here in some way. i'll just give him the benefit of doubt until i learn more.

thanks for brining this to our attention.

This is somewhat of an old issue but here is a statement from Pastor Hagee.

...I would hope this might get more evangelicals and charismatics to rec-consider then all these "expert" opinions on Bible prophecy.

This helps immensely. I'm glad to read this. The whole thing just didn't make any sense. Thanks, Xenia, for posting this. It certainly clears things up for me.

Yes, thanks, Xenia. I was concerned about Hagee when I saw that promo.

I'm with Ransom ... the phrase "prophecy expert" sends up red flags for me.

No one really knows what will happen in the future. God does, of course, and He has drops hints to us about it. I have studied the prophecies and drawn my own conclusions--which, as it turns out, aligns mostly with the mainstream view--but no one can be dogmatic about it. I'm sure there will be a lot of red faces on those who propounded an erroneous interpretation of prophecy, stirred by their own emotion rather than the Holy Spirit.

Unfortunately, my computer doesn't do video or sound, so I could not watch the YouTube stuff that were linked, but I did read several of the text articles.
