I wanted to post a note to say "Thank you" to the CW Staff for sending me an email wishing me a happy birthday.
Also, I wanted to take a moment to explain why I haven't been posting. On Dec. 2, 2007, my wife passed away and I have been trying to deal with my loss and just trying to readjust to life without her. Therefore, I haven't done much writing of any kind whatsoever.
Soon, I will be moving back to Texas. I plan to move at the end of June. However, I will try to do some posting before and after my move.
Again, thank you and God bless!

Richard, I too will be praying. I've lost my brother and an uncle in the last two months. Still, I cannot imagine what it must be like to lose your spouse. As you know, it was no surprise to God. Take care and God bless.

Sorry to hear about your loss. Why not write about your wife? It could be healing.... In my prayers, Brenda
You are in my prayers. I pray that you will feel God's love comforting you through this hardship and that friends or family will be near you.

Thank you to all who have replied to my post. Perhaps I should have told about my wife's passing sooner, but I just could not seem to do so. I have lost loved ones and friends in times past, but nothing has compared to losing my wife. I feel as if a part of me died with her.
Someone suggested that I write about my wife. I have started doing that very thing. Other friends made the same suggestion and although I have never written a novel, I am going to try to do so. I have other author friends who have offered their help if I need it. So, I hope to be able to write about our lives together and her home-going and finally about my time of trying to adjust to life without her. My goal in this endeavor is to hopefully be able to be of some help to those who may have experienced a loss of a loved one and for those who will undoubtedly experience this unfortunate part of life in the future.
I covet your prayers in this endeavor. Also I thank all of you who are praying for me now. God bless!

May the Lord bless your efforts to reach others in their time of grief. I think ths is commendable...and I'm sure it is cathartic. Will pray. Be blessed.
