Does anyone know if R. Wolgemuth and Assoc. are literary agents of repute?

They presently hold a book proposal and are taking too long to reply.

There are a few good resources on the web you could check. One is Victoria Strauss and her Writers Beware site. I sent her a list of agents I am looking into and she gave me good information on all of them. She keeps an extensive listing of agents and publishers and their reputations.

Also in searching for an agent, check to see if they are members of the Association of Authors Representatives at:
http://www.publishersweekly.com/aar/

These agents are well known in the industry, and must have a track record of sales, and are not fee charging agents.

You could email this agent and ask about the status of your manuscript. If it has been longer than a couple months I would move on. Send out queries to several agents. The AAR is a good place to gather a list. If you are looking for Christian agents, email me and I will send you the list I have.
