Hello Friends,
I am probably one of a zillion people that have written a potential novel, mauscript, etc and has minimal knowledge in regard to its value or worth; not to mention how to get it published. A non fiction that I wrote 5 years ago continues to lay on the shelf, but God keeps nudging me to do something with it and also continues to give me other topics to put on paper. My past hesitation to act, had alot to do with my primary occupation and wanting to make sure that I was in Gods will. I am old enough to relaize that if this is not what God wants me to do.....I am wasting valuable life.
Over the past 6 months, God has begun a new work in my life and he is given me a life that I can devote some time to writing, etc. I have a deep compassion for people and their struggles and feel that hope and inspiration, through real life events/stories, is a way to reach people of all ages and help them heal and have a better life on planet earth.
I look forward to putting my faith to good works for him.

whitehawke,
Thanks for the welcome and for the blessing. Your work is AMAZING. What God given talent. I read where you love the beach as well as I do. In fact I have recieved alot of my inspiration while at the beach. Most of the actual setting for my first writing takes place at the beach.

May God continue to use your talents for his will!

Hi Ebying Tide,
Very interesting to read your comments that in the last 6 months God has begun a new work in your life.I hope I can hear more about that work. It caught my eye because in the last 7 months God has begun something new in my life which has had a profound effect on me. I truly hope the Lord blesses and enables you to fulfill your desire to serve him with your writing and gives you a niche in which to do that.
The Lord's blessing be on you,
Zoran

Thanks so much waiter,
It is nice to talk to others that enjoy writing and wants to use it to Gods glory. I read the poetry you shared and could feel your passion. Well done!
After working outside my home for over 30 years, I left a senior level positon and a nice income to start a business out of my home. One of my major goals was to get my life back. I was working mostly 10-12 hour days. When I decided to leave without knowing what I would be doing. I annouced it to my husband on a Friday, and the next Tuesday, God open the door to my new business. It is going well and it appears that I can make a livng and and still do other things. I continue to be bugged in my spirit about writing. My one and only non fiction actually on paper, I truly believe was God inspired. I want to write to help others see hope by reflecting the happenings of peoples lives.
Thanks for your welcome,
ET

wow. Thanks for looking at my artwork. :) Glad you like it.
Hey, I get a lot of inspiration from the beach as well and the first novel I attempted is based at the beach. I love the beach and I'm going to be doing some beach paintings soon to sell.
Keep up the good work.

I hope that us writers here are able to help you out, and that you learn from us, as we intend to learn from you. Strange as most writers are, we are still friendly, so tell us what you like to write, ok?
Blessings!

Hey welcome. you have come to a great place. I suggest you start posting and critiquing so we can have a look at your work. I'm sorry but I can't recall did you say if it was Mystery or what? Also how much do you know about writing.
I found out when coming here there are so many things to learn, there is Pov, passive voice, so many spelling errors. The new spacing rules about how many spaces behind the period. Oh there is more I'm not able to recall now. You need to get moving it's a long process to edit. Unless you have all these things under control. Which I don''t. LOL
Welcome home.
