Okay, I know this isn't a humor forum, but I heard this today and I thought they were funny--which is rare for me, as I've been told I have no sense of humor.
Once, this little girl wrote a letter to God. She asked her dad to mail it. Realzing that he couldn't, he told her that letters had to have an address or they couldn't be mailed.
"Oh," the little girl said. "I already put an address and a stamp on it. So will you mail it?"
Reluctantly, the dad agreed. It struck him as funny that the address read, "1 Heaven Way, Heaven." Seeing that the child put so much effort into the letter, he pretended to mail it. A few days later, the girl started checking the mailbox. The dad asked why.
"I'm waiting for God to write me back," she said. Then she asked, "Are you sure you mailed that letter to Him?"
The father, unwilling to lie to his children, told her, "No, honey, I didn't, because the post office doesn't send mail to heaven."
"Well, can't you give it to Him yourself?"
"No," the father replied. "I can't. I'd have to go to heaven and take it with me."
"Oh," the little girl said. "Well, can't you put it in some old person's pocket, then?"
