Hi,
I must have messed up. I posted a couple of poems under writer's showcase under poetry/verse. Not that these were polished or showcasy poems. At the time it seemed the only place to post or share these poems. I don't see my post popping up so am wondering what I did wrong?

I would do as the doc suggests, but one quick answer might be that you need to have at least 5 (if I remember right) posts before you can post in the critique forums, and the showcase sections are for active members. Also, it takes awhile for things to show up there, as they are screened by the moderators. Do read as DrRita prescribed, it can answer a lot of your q's.

If they are not ready for the showcase and you would like to have them critiqued, as soon as you get enough points, post them in the poetry workshop for help.
