Hi,
I don't write poetry. In fact I don't really consider myself a "writer" other than the fact that I use and appreciate writing greatly as a means of self expression. These poems came recently at a time when God was moving in me to expression, and I realized that the Spirit of God has no bounds in terms of creativity. Simply put, I believe his law to be that of do not sin but then do as you please. At least this is my growing perception of Him as a person and being who has no bounds like the ones I am accustomed to knowing.

TWISTED STRANDS
I bring the twisted strands
of the day of a life before you
Presenting them as things left over
Unable to be straightened by me
Things too hard too many too big
Your specialty Lord perfection's DNA
Creating good out of evil
Harnessing wild horses taming them
Through and through bringing glory
In the highest glory from the lowest
Proving again and again that you
You alone are God the one
You alone are holy
To you alone we bring glory

SIMPLICITY
Is you
Asking me no questions
Standing silent
Standing strong
Son of man
Son of God
Lamb slain for all
Bearing all
Loving all
Being all
I need

Hi Rachel,
Thank you for that.I read your bio and noticed you're a poemist (my new word). Where do I find your poems Liberty Statue and The Road Not Taken (right title of last poem?)....way to go in getting them published! I would like to read them. As I indicated somewhere else, I don't consider myself a writer in any true sense, however, am thinking if anything I more a poemist(there's that word again) than anything else.Shorter. Not easier. Just shorter.
God bless

Waiter,

I'm honored you went and read my bio..wow. I'll go ahead and post both of those poems for you, or unless you want me to PM them to you. I can do either, and I'm fine with PMing them, if that's ok with you!
Blessings!

Rachel,
I'm assuming the PM thing has something to do with messenger, which I don't use or even know how. However if you don't mind posting the poems, I would be happy to read them that way. Thanks,
Zoran

Zoran,

PM is Private Message, which is inside of ChristianWriter's actually. I just messaged you over one of my poems, I guess we'll see if you get it. If not, I'll go ahead and post them. ok?

Hi Rachel,
I was not near a computer on the weekend so am sorry for getting back late to you on this. I got your PM and read your poem. Well done! I like it. I am not great at giving constructive critique like others here. I simply read and get my sense about the writing.

I'm sorry, but am not sure how to PM you back, that is why I posted here.

Zoran,
at the bottom of my PM to you, on the right hand side it will say "forward" on one button and "reply" on the other. Hit reply, type your message into the window provided, and then hit send message. Does that make sense? I look forward to getting your message!
Rachel
