I'm sure all of you have been watching the news and seen the tremendous amount of rain we have been getting in the Midwest. I'm in Oklahoma, Coweta specifically and we have been nailed that last week or so.
3 times (3!!!) we have been flooded in and couldn't either get our kids from school or get them to school. And more rain is on the way....UGH!!!

I think I'm growing webs on my feet.

Is this how Noah felt? lol

Blessings,
Lisa

Maybe this should be in prayer requests. We have been getting a lot of it, too, here in KY. I will certainly pray for you.

Ugh... is right. I don't have to worry about getting them to and from school since we homeschool. But we now have a lovely pool in the back yard from the hole the kids decided to dig last summer when it was dry. It makes for a lovely mud bath if you like that sort of thing and naturally my kids do. They were covered head to toe in mud within 15 minutes this afternoon.

Denver just got hit with freezeing rain last night, followed by some snow this morning and lots and lots of below-freezing winds. Now I know who to blame for it. LOL.

BTW, is it my imagination, or does the calendar say APRIL?

Nope, it's not your imagination. We are definitely in April. :)

Well, the saying says "April showers bring May flowers"
We'd better have lots of flowers next month..lol.

No kidding. The calendar says spring, but sure looks like winter outside my window: snowy and windy.

Weather woes galore! I am just down the road in muldrow, ok, near Ft. Smith Ar, where we received pelting hail and small tornados wednesday evening. I hear we made nat'l news, but didn't see it since we were without power for 2 days. I lost about six windows in my home, but thankfully, no one in our little town was injured or killed. God was watching out for us, for certain! Hope things get better in Coweta, too!

Aw-w-w, poor Sommergirl. Missed out on her 15 minutes of fame. LOL

My hubby flexed his muscles at a passing news helicopter but alas, there was no appearance on the news. Must have been overwhelmed by the enormity of his biceps, heh? LOL

Oh, forgot to mention he was atop a ladder nailing boards over the upstairs window at the time and nearly fell off! THAT might have made news!
