What's Up?

Howdy from Oklahoma, glad to meet you. I'm new here and new to writing. I have a few shorts from different classes I've taken and am working on a series of historical fiction short stories about some of the "minor" characters in the Gospels and how Christ changed their lives. I hope to linger and learn and jump in when I can contribute. Talk with you later, Kansas just went into overtime in the championship, GO HAWKS!

Hi there, welcome to CW.
I enjoy picturing what went on with some of the characters and events in the bible that have not been documented. It can be quite stimulating to imagine the motives of some of the characters - and not just the 'minor players'. I suppose Judas is a prime example - was he just mistaken ? Did he 'betray' Jesus in order to stir him up to some more direct Messiahship ? Was he doing what was ordained for him to do ? Did Jesus actually give him permission ? I'm not an academic so I probably have freer rein for my imagination than the commentators.

Welcome to CW! I love writing short stories on the Bible, I call them Biblical dramatizations, but I think it amounts to about the same thing. I've done a few, but most of them so far have been on better known character's in the Bible, like Peter. I like Peter, and always have. He's a bit thick-headed and obstinate, open's his mouth too fast, and doesn't think. But all the same, he's a likeable fellow.
Anyway, that was a random observation! lol.
