Just wanted to stop in and say hello.

Been a lurker for a little bit now and figured I'd say hi.

If you've been lurking you'll know that we always like to know a little more about a person than you're letting on. C'mon now, out of your shell.
Welcome to CW.

Hi there and welcome to cw. Glad you've decided to stop lurking. You gotta be careful around here, you never know what lurks in the hidden corridors of cw. Muahahaha
Tell us about yourself. What kind of writing are you into?

Show us who you are, k? We are friendly and not nearly as spooky as White Hawk would have you believe. *winks*, we like new people!
So... what do you write?
Welcome to good ol' CW, btw!

Blessings!

Thanks for the warm welcome from everyone.

I am one of those wacky, Christian folks who creep people out on the internet because I talk about Jesus and other stuff that non-believers and unsaved people hate hearing about.

As for my writing, I have been working on short story and novella fiction for the middle youth and YA Christian markets. At one point, I fancied myself as an aspiring novelist, but I also have a ministerial call to try and reach our young people. Not that I am trying to do YA with an overt message, but well... okay, I am doing YA with an overt message. I am not really genere-bound and I am not really shopping anything yet.

Also, I do some paid ghostwriting for several political blogs. That's just some fun side work because I am interest in online community-building. I'm a software analyst and have worked specifically with web, ecommerce, etc.. for many, many years (since Uncle Al invented the internet - back before he invented carbon dioxide even).

Someday, I will write more testimonial prose when I feel that God is leading me to put the story in print. There's a couple chapters dealing with living family members that I am still praying for guidance in how to deal with them in print. But I trust that the wisdom will come when it is time.

My wife and I live on a 30 acre farm in southeastern Indiana right on the banks of the west fork of the Whitewater River just near a historic canal town called Metamora. Nothing special, just a farm in the country. We're expecting our first child in November, and her disabled father also lives with us. Dogs, chickens, pigs, deer, raccoons, groundhogs, a couple bald eagles, but really more buzzards. It's a great life.
