Big Question ?

1. What kind of basic info should a person with not much professional writing career portfolio put on their website that links to about us or about [B][B]me page?
(can you please share your advice on this either by suggested subjects or example)

2. On contact me page how much info should one give out here

What kind of basic info should a person with not much professional writing career portfolio put on their website that links to about me page?

You should include a basic bio, which can include: your education (if you have any degrees), your life or work experience (if it relates to your writing), and any publishing credits. If your website is targeting readers (not editors), your bio can also include your testimony, and personal information that might be interesting (for example, you're the owner of a dozen dogs, run the children's ministry of your church, and you're married with four children, etc.)


2. On contact me page how much info should one give out here

ONLY include your email address. Do NOT include a phone number or address. If an editor needs this information, you can provide it at another time. (It's just not safe to have that sort of info online...In fact, I wouldn't even include the name of your State anywhere on your website.)
