I'm a SAHW from Indiana, married 9 years this June. I have a passion for art, writing, and other creative pursuits. I was in a car accident last month that changed my perspective on things. No longer can I bury my talents in the sand or procrastinate another day.
I'm a quiet observer in most social situations, which I guess is a good quality for a writer.:) I love classic novels of the past, especially, it seems by British authors. Jane Austen, George Eliot, Elizabeth Gaskell, C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, and the Bronte sisters are perennial favorites. Favorite North American authors include L.M. Montgomery of the famous "Anne of Green Gables" and Laura Ingalls Wilder of the "Little House on the Prairie." Anything good, wholesome, and old-fashioned is at the top of my reading list.
I am looking for accountability and honest criticism of my work, and maybe a few kindred spirits as well.
