I can't stay on this forum anymore.

All of those people that have the nature of Jesus and are positive and Godly, I am sorry that I can't stay around to help.

There are some people on here that I can't be around.

They will probably bag me while I'm gone I dare say. Probably even Joke about me. Use me as something to laugh at. Oh well.

There are many sinful things I can stand but when it comes to others being hurt, nar I can't put up with that.

I can not stay here and watch this anymore.

I pray that God blesses you all for your Godliness.

Peace.

Sleavie,

This is the third time I've seen you make an announcment like this and the second time I've seen you make a whole thread about it. I'm troubled because I've seen these kind of antics before from kids on other forums, but I know from your posts that you're not an immature little kid playing games on the Internet.

I don't understand what's going on, but I know it all has to do with that one creationism thread. Please understand that I'm not talking down to you when I say this, but if you have that much of a problem with the ideas expressed by the people in the creationism thread, then don't post in it and don't read it. If you have a personal problem with the people there, then take a moment and send them a PM or an email and discuss it like adults. If you have a problem with me or anything I've said, my PM box is pretty much open. I will say openly that I have no problem with you, no anger toward you, and no ill will against you. From what I've seen, the whole problem is that there are a lot of complex, multi-dimensional ideas that are being expressed in a format that doesn't lend itself to complexity or subtlety. Add to that the ego of writers discussing these things. Top it off with the fact that you live a half a world away from most of the people here and there are undoubtedly culture conflicts that aren't helping matters. I know I don't have a clue what the church is like in Australia or how society there feels about Christian issues.

Rather than taking the, "I'm packing up my ball and going home," approach, please consider taking the advice of Paul and working things out smoothly. I think you've got a lot to offer this community and if this really is your good bye, then I hope you don't give up on using your talents for God. I pray you'll consider what I'm saying in the spirit it was intended.

Dear Sleavie,

It's a real shame you've decided to leave.... Have you talked to Rebecca about how you feel?? She might be able to help, you know.
Things like ill-treatment and tension SHOULD NOT be tolerated here.
I know for sure that I want to be part of the group that WON'T let things like that happen.
I'm so sorry it has come to this... If you haven't talked to Rebecca, please try. I never enjoy saying goodbye to kind and helpful like you. :)

God Bless You Abundantly...
