Tears

How many tears have floated down the stream,
How many years have I fought this dream?
I wonder and I will search,
Why do I put my faith in the religion at my church?

I want to be real,
Cleanse my heart so I may feel,
Your presence.

Not gonna wear your religious mask,
Doing the father’s work is my task,
We find life in the slaughtered lamb,
Redemption when we come to the end.
