The Unborn

Nobody sees them,
No one can hear their cry,
They are alive and breathing,
Why must they die?

To most it is legal,
Nothing more than a choice,
Someone needs to take a stand,
Why can't anyone give them a voice?

There's nothing pretty about abortion,
We are told they feel no pain,
Tell me how can that be?
Their life is being literally drained.

These unborn have just become a number,
They could have accomplished a lot,
They could have been a doctor, a lawyer,
A minister or a cop.

They are the unborn, never to be born,
A victim of the careless,
Now they are in heaven,
Looking down on us.

Think of that for a moment,
It is time to do what is right,
Put an end to abortion,
Together we can win the fight.
