Topic for discussion:

Do you pray for your brothers and sisters you have on ChristianWriters.com? Generally or only when a request is made?

Morning Chad,
I prayed for someone if they requested it, but I have begun about a month ago praying for this site. The more I am getting to know people here the more they are in my heart, and that usually triggers prayer.
God Bless You
Mary Ann
PS Nice newsletter again great writing!

Chadd,
You've raised an important issue. Without prayer we would be pushing out God from our scheme of things, even in this website. Thanks for the reminder. I guess I need to start praying.

Already this seems to be some assembly of Christian writers. And if we start praying one guy may start trembling.

Chadd,

Thanks for the reminder to pray for other writers on this site. Unfortunately, I 've only prayed when asked. In the days to come, I plan to change that and pray for this site and its writers when I go on-line.

God Bless you,

CAWHEAT,

Guess I should address you as Chadd like the rest...

Anyway, that was a good topic for contemplation. I have prayed upon request but will re-think it. I can see the good that can come for all of us.

Mary Ann mentioned your newsletters. They are great. I look forward to them every week.

If anyone out there is not on this mailing list now is a good time to get on board. Your life is indeed a comedy, a well written comedy at that.

My first experience reading your newsletter was your family vacation... What fun. Then in another one I could just imagine the family at the dinner table when your wife tells your son to please take his feet out of his spaghetti, if my memory serves me correctly. Or your brother telling you to hose down the roof for the fireworks... Too funny. I'm not so whoopie on football though, so , maybe you could pray for me!

Your sister in Christ,

Thanks for all the replies....

Myself: I had been praying upon request, too. Then I realized -- you are all my family in Christ, even though I've never met you! But that's the strongest connection possible, no?

Anyway, I'm going to start praying for your successes and failures, because we can glorify Him with both.

Here's to you, through Him!

;)

Hi Chadd

Personally, prayer is a struggle - even for people whom I've met face to face. There are always a million things to crowd prayer out. Bad excuse, I know. :p

Guess praying for friends on this site has not crossed my mind. But I'm glad it did yours. And thanks for reminding us on the important stuff.

John:

Send a blank email to:
chaddwheat-subscribe@topica.com

and it'll send you a confirmation. After that, you'll get my weekly articles (usually on Mondays or Tuesdays).

White Coffee -- I always feel like my prayer list is HUGE too. But I think God knows whats on our minds, even if we don't speak it in prayer. Sometimes I just ask the Holy Spirit to guide my prayers. I know HE knows what's going on in my life, even if I don't want to admit it! :)
