So this thread will discuss the TV show Jericho, and this is my disclaimer, that if you haven't yet watched the series (WHY HAVEN'T YOU?) or haven't stayed caught up on the recent episodes You Might Want To Not Read This Thread As It Will Contain Spoilers. With that said....

You've been warned.
So anybody else a fan? I actually don't watch TV, I did start watching the show on the internet.
Supposedly the show was cancelled after its 1st season, but apparantly the fans sent the producers, et. al., a ton of peanuts - in reference to the line from WW11 where (I think it was) the 101st Airborne were surrounded as the advance through France proceeded after D-Day.
The German commander sent a note to the American commander telling him "You are surrounded, your supplies are cut off. Surrender and save your men." The American's response was "Surrender, Nuts!" The American forces proceeded to dig in and wait it out until re-inforcements showed up.
The MC's GP makes ref to this story in the beginning of the last episode of season 1.
So, apparantly the nuts got us a reprieve - but only of 7 episodes. I just watched what was being promoed as being the series finale. Boy did they leave it open to a spin-off series - I'm thinking "Jericho: Civil War."
Anybody else have any thoughts on this?
