Looking forward to learning more from other folks on the same journey. For years I have been urged to publish my work, mostly poems of encouragement sparked by an incident, difficulty, or new accomplishment in someone's life. Now am finally starting to investigate the possibility!

Thanks for the welcome! I have enjoyed looking around. As I've thought lately more seriously about writing, it has come to mind what God said to Moses, when He was giving directions for leading the Hebrews out of Egypt, "What is that you have in your hand?" (referring to Moses's staff). That just reminded me we already have 'at hand' what we need, to do what we're called to do....in our case, maybe a pen or keyboard...

It will be interesting to learn who the the nite owls and early birds are...I sometimes find the quieter times to be more helpful to my own writing. Seeing all the web links, makes me think that a personal website is going to be an important part of online sharing and communication of ones' work. Already I feel a little like Alice in Wonderland, peering about...and now I've been challenged to a duel, on my first day in!!!

Thanks for the kind greetings! Due to a wedding, I'm missing the Georgia Writers Association workshop today....so I'm glad to able to replace that with getting to meet others of like heart, at least online.
