Easter

Okay Folks, I'm going to ask another question ... and I'm truly searching for ways in which other Christians observe OUR holy-days.

How do you celebrate Easter? I expect everyone to give the obvious answer ... going to a church service. But I'm curious about beyond that service.

I wasn't raised in a Christian family so we did Easter Bunny stuff and occasionally went to church (rarely). We received pretty new dresses and shiny new shoes and it was lovely. It was also a time when the family gathered together for a spectacular meal.

While church services now have a significant meaning for me and worshipping the Father on Resurrection Sunday is wonderful, the remainder of the day looks pretty much the same as when I wasn't a Christian.

Soooooo ... I wanted to ask how others celebrate.

We pretty much did everything you do when my kids were little, except we went to church. Now we go to church and go to my mother's for dinner.

Although I generally have dinner after church with family, I don't really celebrate Easter. I prefer to focus my own resurrection celebration roundabout Passover.
