Very interesting article as a whole but the part I want to highlight is about half way through and says...

The law, he said, is necessary for national security according to recommendations from the commission that studied the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks.
"Secure identification is a cornerstone of protecting our communities," he said.

Ha! I say... Ha! How about protecting our borders and other ports of entry first hu? What a backwards way to go about things!

Didn't read the whole article. I believe that WA is among those troublesome states. Well, that's OK by me, as I have no plans of going to Canada, etc., anytime soon.


And agreed, whe should lock down th eborders first, then deal w/ the ID issue.
