I am new here and am trying to Get my book off the ground. I have self published Through Lulu Enterprises Inc. or lulu.com. The book title is
THOUGHTS OF THE TRANSPLANTED MISSISSIPPIAN.
The book is suitable for all ages to read. It is an eclectic book of poetry and the life events of the author during the period of the Presidency of George W. Bush. A political commentary on national events, and a short play, as well as poetry and prose for love, joy, sorrow and the shear fun of writing.
The book is in a static point now. No sales yet. 33 online store carry it as print on demand. No one knows it is out there and I am at the point as to not know what to do to advertise it. I have my on store front on Lulu and If you use yahoo or other search engine it will come up on the net. But you have to ask for it to find it on the net. I have applied to Literary agents for help. Most of them want well known authors few want new authors. I have done all I know how to do and am at the point of knowing nothing more I can do. If money is the problem I have little or none. Does anyone know where I go from here????

Welcome to CW. Y
ou could put an entry on 'ShoutLife' regarding your book as a first step - a lot of people use ShoutLife as a marketing tool but I'm not sure if it is effective.

Welcome! Keep in mind, the writing world is hard work, praying, and luck :) When you feel frustrated, just remember God has his own timing:)
