Scott Westlake,
___I've only ever read the Bible. I seem to had a problem with bringing myself to read something else based off the Bible (or any other book for that matter). Anyways, I'm in here to ask why you use the ~~~ things. Are you as obsest with indentions as I am? I don't know why- they just make it easyer for me to read. It's like a refrence point for me.

AngelAzariah,
~~~Great books "the Bible," and thats all you need to read. However, I like to get different oppinions from other Christians, it's just onother way God speaks to us, kinda like Christianwriters.com.
~~~Yes, :o I just can't bring myself to leave an indention out it makes the whole sentance look odd.
~~~May God bless you in your travels and be your guide on the path of life. He loves us enough to die for us, and then He seeks us as we still sin. We should have a passion for Him that is unquenchable, bringing us to seek Him daily. Love and friendship in Christ Jesus, Scott
~~~I have been praying, and the oddest thing God put into my head just now. Aren't you a writer? And don't you feel that what you write offers revalation and help to others? If you don't why do you write? What inspires you? God speaks through His people. I don't think we should take to heart every wind of doctrine (Eph. 4:14) But as we mature we are able to tell what is garbage and what is food. Just like children when we were small we would pick anything up and chew on it, As adults though, we know better. (Or we should).
~~~God guides His people with whatever means possible. Alot of what we couldn't even emagine and most of the time don't understand untill it's to late. I was once tought a lesson I believe by God, through a secular person. Talk about a shock. :o :eek: :confused:
Scott,
I don't know anything about the book you mentioned, but I wanted to make a recomendation of my own.
I'm not sure what religious persuasion you fall into, but I was at a Charasmatic get-together about seven or eight years ago and they were touting this book called The Final Quest by Rick Joyner. This is probably one of the most hotly contested books on spirituality I've ever heard of. Again, it's not a Bible study per say, but the book really changed my life and the way I approach spiritual warfare. I was in such a battle at the time that I really needed it and God literally placed it into my hands.
Speaking of spiritual warfare, always remember this. God's armor has no protection for our backs because we were never meant to turn around in battle.
~~~Amen to that. I will remember that. I am all about being on fire, and go to a four square church called the River. This book I do recomend it also, that is, if your having trouble or lack of understanding about God speaking to you.
~~~May God be your guide and His sword your search for wisdom. love and friendship in Christ Jesus, Scott :)
