Would anybody in here be interested in a chat room? I know Praize IM has a group chat feature, maybe we could agree on a time and all meet up with it.

wgjones3,
___I've done big chats like that, they were a mess and had no real drive. Most of what was said was, I agree or I disagree. I don't think I would be up for it. Besides, we have enough probs getting more then 20 post on the board right now anyways don't we? Maybe I'm counting wrong. ;)

I think it would be a marv idea! Especially if it is well organized, scheduled, and moderated. Ah, there's the challenge! :p

Moderated? Muhahahahahahahahahahaha.
We don't need no stinkin' moderation. We're writers, after all. :D

If we did a chat I agree with tossing the moderator, however, I am a fairly misreable 'Chat' person because usually there are a million distractions on my end. I'd probably be good for it about once a month...... Serious.

I've always heard there's two kinds of people in the world. Chat people and forum people. Both think the other is crazy.

I KNEW you were a 'chat-person!' Infidel!

Infedel? Me? :D
I use to be a chat person, but it became, like, too much pressure. All those lines of text flying by and an unhealthy speed. Then there were the PM stalkers. "A/S/L" all the time. Don't even get me started on the chat room stalkers. They'll follow you from room to room, sending perverted PMs with nothing more than keyboard symbols. The chat world was just too much to handle. That's why I jumped ship.
Hmmm, maybe I need to be a writer or something...

Wow, sounds like a Mary Higgin Clark novel. We could call it "Loves to Dance, Loves to Chat." You know, that's lame...I'm just not in the zone today...........

I got Children and I'm married, so we will leave it at that. Keep a stiff upper lip and all that chirio rot.

My reasons for suggesting a moderator are as follows:
1. you need a big bad meanie to deal with all those hateful psycho atheists who lurk about the net looking for Christians to harrass
2. a moderator is responsible for "topic flow" so everyone doesn't either sit and stare at the screen or, worse, spend HOURS engaging in meaningless worthless chit chat
And, imo, worse than either chat rooms or forums are EMAIL LISTS. They drive me bonkers. :p

My dear Fire Feet, our own Refined Maniac,
Those aren't hateful, psycho, atheists out there. No, no, those are people who need to learn how to be as free as we are. Heh-heh... :) Being an atheist must be terribly depressing, I'm sure they could use some fun.

"topic flow" What a nice idea. Maybe we could use some of that on some of the threads here. :D

Okay...okay....fine....I'm WRONG! Let's just sit in a room and stare meaninglessly at our screens until assaulted by an athiest armed with arguments of hate and nonsense. <hurumph>
Refined maniac, indeed. <sniff>
