Something that occurred to me along those lines is that instead of this being a moment of shame, Spitzer could've utilised rap's influence on today's youth, and in turn its glamorisation of "pimps", "hoes" and "playas", to interest young voters in getting into the process.

If he went up there and said "Hellz yeeah, I hit 'dat wit' Nelly when we wuz' drinkin' foe-ty ounces," his political career would be on the upswing!

Bloody tragedy.
