Hello everyone!
I am having a contest for my historical novel, The Rebel's Pledge.
But first I should give you a brief synopsis of the story.

~ The Rebel's Pledge ~
A Historical Novel of 17th Century Colonial Maryland
Matthew Hale, a rebel and traitor to King James, faces execution. But by royal decree, Hale escapes the hangmen's noose when he is sold into slavery in the Colonies to Edmund Carey.
Through an act of bravery, Hale is freed and journeys back to England to find Carey's estranged daughter Laura. In love they marry, but when Hale is accused of murder he becomes a fugitive. He must make his way back to England to clear his name, find his wife, and confront the enemy that sought to destroy their lives.
The book reflects the inner desire for what is just and true, to overcome the obstacles of life. It is about honor, forgiveness, and love.

Please email me and tell me what Psalm the hero Matthew Hale is quoting from as he prays to the Lord for strength. Hint: He has been arrested and imprisoned, and this takes place toward the end of the book.
The contest will end September 30. The prize is a beautiful inlayed bookmarker, and a few extras thrown in that I will send you. This will go to the first ten people who have the question correct.
Now, if you do not have a copy of The Rebel's Pledge, please go to Amazon.com and read my reviews. That will help you decide if you want the book, which I am sure you will if you love inspirational historical fiction. You can also read the first eight pages there. But if you like to buy books online like I do, the best prices are at Buy.com. Below is the link for my book. They have the old cover on the page. The new one is beautiful. The prices at Buy include shipping and handling. My novel is 454 pages and a large 6x9 soft cover.
My email address is: rpkg@erols.com
Thank you and God bless you always!
