I tend not to drink water in restaurants period, just because of the chlorine, fluoride, and other nasties found in city water. :confused:

On several occasions, I've ordered soda water. However, I don't know where it comes from so I probably won't do that any more. I think I'll start taking my own water with me!

Hey Lynn, I got that article in my mail this morning too! I hadn't read it yet... no, I went out to eat Mexican food and had a huge glass of ice tea with a big fat slice of lemon in it! Squeezed it real good and then dropped the whole thing in just like the article says :(. Gag me!

Not me. I don't use the lemon. Of course it takes all the fun out of giving it to one of the kids and watching them pucker when they try to eat it.

That is bizarre - so bizarre I have a hard time believing it. I wish they gave more details - like how many restaurants they tested - where they were tested - etc. - what the variables of the study were.

I think lemon juice itself is used to disinfect things isn't it? The acid kills a lot.
