With a heavy heart, I relate the news that the inspirer of thousands of cheesy fantasy novels, the creator of an amusement that entertained anti-social teenagers (and older) since the seventies, and a by-all-accounts jovial and creative pioneer in the world of fantasy and entertainment passed away today...

Gary Gygax, Dungeons & Dragons Co-Creator, Died Today Aged 69 (http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5g8XyHnUHsOBoCofRxK-5waWoAGrAD8V6PL180)

Rest In Peace

Never did any D&D myself, but if you want a definition of "influential" ...

Sorry you have a heavy heart.

I never cared much for his creation, though.

I am sad to hear that. Though I don't care much for Dungeons and Dragons personally. I do enjoy watching others play. It is amazing how much information they came up with to put in those rule books and what not. I only hope that his heart was right with God before he passed.

May he rest in peace.
