I clearly stick out like a sore thumb on the "Married Life" section; my husband and I have never really celebrated the commercial aspect of Valentine's Day. Frankly, neither of us are huge on acknowledging designated "special" days, any day can be special, and there's all kinds of "special," for that matter. We're not all made out of the same cloth.
Anyway, I don't know if there are enough single people in this forum, yet, to chime in--but growing up with a single mother, I know that the commercial aspect of Valentine's Day could be depressing for her.
Anybody else feel like that? If so, what do you do to combat it?
