Rebecca, If an image says "subject to copyright," does that mean one could not use it as an avatar? I'm not really sure on this.

Uh-oh! If it's copyrighted and that's not allowed then... um... all my avatars are illegal!!!

Well, not all are. But I saw a picture and that's what it said next to it. So I was wondering. I'm not sure all that entails, just where you can or cannot use it.

I honestly don't know. You'd need to contact the artist and see what type of conditions they have on the use of their image.

Well the avatars I've been using came from Christian Clip-Art CD that I bought... so I guess it's okay?

Yeah, Kellie, I'm sure it is. I was looking at the images on google.

Speaking of avatars, I'm unable to put one on my posts in 4B, not even the ones I've successfully used in CW. That includes one that's less than 100 x 100 pixels and less than 19.5kb. I think I read that CW automatically reduces a slightly larger picture to 100 square, but that hasn't happened here. What can I do?

EDIT: Whoa, there's the littlest one now. What about the others that are slightly larger (under 200 x 200)? Am I concerned over nothing?

When searching for a picture, they usually give the size. I don't know if it automatically reduces on this site or not. The only way to find out is to try and see if it works. If not, try another one.
