Seems like every time I see politics mentioned in the media, they're talking about Ron Paul--and not always in a positive way. Just wondering if anybody here is a Ron Paul supporter.

He stands against NAFTA, WTO, and all that other globalisation stuff, right?

For that reason alone I'd like to support him, but experience has taught me to not trust politicians – period.

Why should I trust him?

I trust him (as much as I can anyway) based on his voting record. That and the famous Neo-Conned speech he gave before Congress back in '02.

don't know him but if he's against Nafta I'll look in to him.

This new cite is great.

Hey, Jacks girl! I'm sure Rebecca will be glad to know you said that! I think it will be really great, I mean, not that it isn't already! I mean, well, you know what I mean. As we grow, it'll get even better!

I'm a Ron Paul supporter... so much so that I will write him in if he doesn't get the nomination. I just can't vote for any of the other candidates.

Some of the stuff in his old newsletters iraises some red flags ... also not too sure about the "when fascism comes, it will be draped in the flag and carrying a cross" comment.

Wow? Ron Paul said that?

I think he just went up a few points in my esteem for having that kind of chutzpah...

I can't say that I necessarily disagree with him either, which is precisely why I'm wary of Christianity being aligned to any political faction or ideology.

Only one I see realisticly getting the vote is McCain.

He has experience, age steady marriage and military background.

The country is not ready for a female prez, a black\muslin prez and Guiliani has questionable morals at best. And as far as I know we have not had a divorced prez yet.

Those four seem to be the front runners that is the only reason I mentioned them.

This is only my opinion.

You forgot Romney, but people are more (and more rightfully) afraid to have a Mormon calling the shots than a Roman Catholic.

I'm still voting for Jesus and Gandalf... :D

The country is not ready for a a black\muslin prez. Obama is indeed black (it's one half of his heritage), but there is no evidence that he is a muslim.

And as far as I know we have not had a divorced prez yet. Reagan was divorced.

Only one I see realisticly getting the vote is McCain. McCain is divorced.

I heard that the muslim thing was not true on obama ... i'm still weeding them all out too.

If Obama were Islamic, he's doing a really bad job at it.

You can find out the truth if you go to Snopes.com. They debunk the "Muslim" myth about Obama.

He is still on the ballot, but I think he only has one delegate so far.

I did like his support of homeschooling. I'm not convinced we'll get that from McCain.
