I'm a PC gamer when I have time for it. My next rig will be a full-on Mac Pro desktop running VMWare for XP - OS X development for the magazine.

mac is excellent! even though I'm writing this on a PC. But this PC has just had to undergo system restore twice since yesterday and caused me to yank all my files out of the Microsoft Word section and toss them into gmail in case the silly thing crashes. Now I'm going to set up a section to work out of on my work computer, an Apple, and also on my clam shell Apple, which was given to me by a friend. It was about eight years old when I acquired it. It works perfectly fine...my kid stuck a claim out on it though... so I haven't used it very much.

But I've certainly never had the BS with Mac's that I've had with PC's.

My sister owns an "apple wannabe" and I waaaaant an Apple so bad!! I might have to settle for a Gateway though...and I am currently writing this on a Dell..lol.

Love my mac. If you go on ebay, you can get really good deals on used Ibooks. That is what I use for writing. I paid 200 for it. It is great. I also have the new IMac, it is great. Gotta love the 24" screen.

Yeah, I think Macs are cool, but for those who are in the poorhouse, Linux gets the security of a Mac and it's cheap/free! I particularly like Ubuntu. If you want, check out my Ubuntu Linux thread.

Just bought a new MacBook!!! I love it love it. I bought Final cut xpress. Next purchase . . . a MacBook Pro. then a big big one for movie editing (probably in about a year). I'm ready to be Mac-amized!

I’ll stick to what I got cheep and let’s me get my work done. So for now, the PC is the only thing I want. Can’t jump on the bandwagon, sorry. :p

I LOVE MY MAC. I've got a lot to learn but even without "learning", I've been able to do some neat stuff.

I have the iMAC and if I could, I'd hug it at least once a day.

I need more visual stimulus and it gives me that ... and more. I purchased it more for doing design and layout and my thousands of photos.
