Christian agents?

Anybody know any real Christian agents? Not the one listed online, he's also listed under Writer's Beware. Sorry can't think of his name. But just put Christian literary agent in a search engine and you'll get him.

I have several screenplays and teleplays. I wrote a spec script for House MD and made it all the way to the Shuman Company in LA. They handle House MD and The Shield. David, the agent, said my writing was good, I had talent, yada, yada. But they couldn't sell it because it was going in a wrong direction and it wasn't "quite" good enough. (Funny, the co-founder of Gotham Writer's Workshop now writing for Gilmore Girls thought it was good enough, as well as a bunch of other professionals) But we are still talking so that's good.

Ah well, I'm happy it's in God's hands. Otherwise, I'd be nuts! I also caught the ear of Chaz Corzine, Frank Peretti's agent and he looked at my novel. Everything was going great till his buddy said it wasn't good.

Is there a common theme here? I've studied and worked with reading groups and paid for lots of coverage. I pray for success soon, before I'm floating dentures in a cup!!

There are numerous ones. They all have websites and can be googled. Although I don't know what they handle, the top three I can think of off the top of my head are Steve Laube, Chip MacGregor, and Terry Whalin. I know there are others but my mind is blank. Hope this helps.

I've heard great things about Steve Laube. No matter where I read his name, it's nothing but good stuff.

Thanks a lot guys! I really appreciate it and will jump on it right away. I pray God will grant me a harvest for my work as I see evidence of a harvest of spiritual fruit growing in me. No really, it's been twenty years of struggling and questioning God. He keeps pointing me back to the flippin' keyboard and more classes. Just today I had to laugh in prayer because I was seeing more than little glimmers of patience "put on patience like a robe" where before there was nothing but gnashing teeth and road rage. Finally God gets a little harvest for his investment in me! See? It works both ways!! Cool hunh?
