Throughout the month of March we'll be voting on our next book club selection. Please cast your vote for the book you'd like the group to focus on during April and May. Voting will be open until March 31.

In our "Running List (http://christianwriters.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14852)" thread, people contribute titles to a list of genres. I'm just pulling the genres off the list in the order they're found. Hopefully, we'll get to something you're interested in soon. Any book title suggestions you want to add to the list?

I haven't really heard of any of these books. Of course this is not my usual genre. But the title "Five People You Meet In Heaven" sounded intriguing, so I picked that one.

Not right now. Guess I'll wait until a genre I like comes up and then see what books are being voted on and go from there.

I voted for The Thirteenth Tale, as it relates to authors and writing.

I have read Five People You Meet in Heaven. I read the synopsis and reviews of the other four on Amazon. I like Tracie Peterson's style a lot and have not read the selection by her, but I chose The Thirteenth tale. It sounded the most intriguing. Elaine

I voted for The Thirteenth Tale. I checked out each books reviews on Amazon. I had Feeling for Bones out from the library a few months ago and didn't get into it. I could give it another chance, but the first chapter didn't intrigue me.

I just checked into each of the books at Amazon.com and I gotta cast my vote for The Thirteenth Tale! That one really sounds like a treat!

The Thirteenth Tale is definitely an excellent treat. One of the most well written novels I've read in ages. You can thunder through it in one sitting if you're not careful.
OK, I don't know if this is open to everyone, but if it is, I would like to join.
I found the website for Thirteenth Tale: http://www.thethirteenthtale.com/bookstore.html (http://www.thethirteenthtale.com/bookstore.html)
and listened to the audio book segments they have posted there.
All I can say is "wow". This woman can write!
I would love to read and discuss this one.

I wish I could change my vote to "The Thirteenth Tale" now. Oh well. It looks like that book's going to win anyway.

I guess I'm joining the trend here...The Thirteenth Tale. Mostly because I've never heard or read of it, and it looked the most intriguing.

It's the little things in life... :p
Thanks for the encouragement to join, I think I will.
If it is acceptable to listen to the audio book, I might do that,
it might be cheaper than paying for shipping.
Anyone want to read it in Polish, I would be happy to order a copy for you.
Craig
By the way, I saw a site that has discussion questions on this book.
Don't know if that would be valuable for this group.

Sure thing, do whatever works for you. You can even read the Cliff Notes, if you want. ;) Thanks for posting the discussion questions. I haven't looked at them yet, because I don't want to spoil my read, but I'll post the link in our "official" thread next month.!thumbsup!

That's what I'm planning on doing -- the unabridged version is at our library.
